Lake Anna Outfitters is located at High Point Marina (4634 Courthouse Road, Mineral, VA 23117 @ Rt. 208 bridge) and is your center for outdoor activities on Lake Anna.
We offer kayak/paddleboard rentals and sales, guided paddles and guided fishing trips, plus information on boat and personal watercraft rentals. Give us a call or email and we can set up, outfitt or suggest a paddling route/guide or book you a fully guided fishing trip for bass, striper or crappie. We work with the lake's best guides that will work hard to please you.

Our shop also carries a full range of paddling accessories like Salus paddling vests, Emotion paddles, Surf 2 Summit kayak seats, scupper plugs, Malone kayak carrying systems and racks.
Lake Anna Outfitters also houses Poppy's Tee Shirt Shop where you can choose from dozens of great transfer designs and a shirt can be made for you within mere minutes. Bring the whole family and you'll be sure to find a shirt to fit your personality and style. Our shop is home to the great line of LKA Wear t-shirts, hoodies, caps, stickers, gift items and more.

Rentals & Rates:
Summer is an ideal time to paddle Lake Anna. Come early and get paddling before everyone wakes up! If you are a late riser, ask about remote paddle put-ins that put you and your guests far from the maddening crowd. We can show you paddle routes, beaches and more. Simply put, you need to come paddle Lake Anna! We can help you plan out a half or full day paddling route with logistical support and more. Give us a call to arrange your visit. We sell and rent sit-in and sit-on-top Emotion kayaks.
Single person boat is $20/half day and $30/full day 
Two person boat is $35/half day and $45/full day
Paddleboard is $25/half day and $35/full day
Paddles, PFDs and seats are available for rent.
Drop off and pick-up of kayaks is available for $20 within the LKA area.
We also have one canoe for rent at $50/day.

Kayak Sales:
We are currently in our busiest season. With boats coming and going quickly. We do offer several packaged boat deals at great prices on our remaining and special inventory below.
The 2010 boats include the all-new Mojo Angler, the Temptation, Exhilarator, CoMotion Spitfire, Comets and Glides. The Temptations and Comets are our best-selling models. The Emotion Comet has just received a major national distinction by winning OUTSIDE Magazine's Top Gear Award. We have plenty of both in a variety of colors. The economical Spitfire and Comet sell for under $300! Come in to the shop on the weekends or call/email us for an appointment to test paddle 70' from our store! Temptation. $579. 10'3" long, 30" wide, holds up to 325 pounds. Weighs 44 pounds and comes with integrated and adjustable seat, two paddle keepers, dry bow storage, large stern storage area and scupper drains at the lowest points in the boat. Can be rigged as show with three rod holders for fishing. $629
Mojo Angler. $799. The Cadillac of fishing kayaks at 12'4" long, 31" wide with a 325-pound capacity. Weighs 59 pounds and comes totally rigged for fishing with adjustable foot braces, three rod holders, adjustable and removable console, integrated and adjustable seat, two paddle keepers, dry bow storage and huge stern storage area. Scuppers and drain veins keep water away from you!
Exhilarator. Looking for speed, stability, and more speed? Kayak Lessons
We also offer private, two-hour paddling lessons that include kayak rental, PFD, paddle, seat and LKA sticker for $115. Beginners can will learn paddle strokes, exit and entry techniques, saftey requirements and more, plus enjoy an end-of-lesson paddle on the lake. Custom lessons are available.
Guided Paddles
Guided trips for families are available. Three-hour trips for up to four paddlers are $100, plus the cost of the rentals/gear/livery ($125 if you have your own gear). We have a number of trip options to choose from including remote portions of the lake and eagle watching tours. Just email or call to set up your trip.
Guided Kayak Fishing Trips
If you'd like to go guided kayak fishing, we can do that as well. We have the lake's top fishing guide on staff with 16 years of experience guiding anglers here. Rates for a four-hour trip are $175/person. Rental kayaks are available. Fishing gear is included in the base rate. Just bring your fishing license, your own food and drink and get ready to have fun!
Guided Fishing Trips
If you'd like to guided fishing from a bass boat or center console for bass, striper or crappie we do that too. We have an arrangement with the lake's top fishing guide service. Rates and trip packages are at www.mccotterslakeanna.com. You can meet at High Point Marina and start your LKA adventure!
Lake Anna Kayak Club
The Lake Anna Kayak Club has an open membership policy. It is $30/year/couple to join. You will receive an LKA sticker and LKA hat or coffee mug as well as be able to participate in all outings for free. Members also receive a 10% discount on kayak purchases. LKA Kayak Club Outings
Our 2010 events are now being planned. Last season we paddled into the headwaters of several creeks, the North Anna River behind the dam (an annual event), took a moonlight paddle and a fall foliage paddle. Check back here for the 2010 trips dates and routes.
