Contact us at Let’s Go Fishing For A Great Lake Place For You! elcome to summer, one of the busiest times around Lake Anna and for the Lake Anna real estate market. Ev- eryone wants a lake house in the summer for friends and family to enjoy. Along with all the wonderful summer activities at Lake Anna the hot real estate market is also bringing out the crowds this year, and, yes, we are still in a “buyers market”! Rising interest rates in addition to so many home options have buyers combing the lake for their own personal paradise. There are currently 181 homes on the market with 106 of those being waterfront. To date there has been 117 homes sold at the lake with 42 currently under con- tract. Of all the homes sold this year, 40 have been waterfront and 77 are lake access homes. Land sales continue to advance at a bit slower pace this year compared to last year’s sales due to the abundance of available homes. To date this year we have sold 40 lots with 17 being waterfront. Last year at this time we had closed on 67 lots with 28 being waterfront. That being said the spec home trend is heating up again, and we have sold quite a few builder spec homes which ac- counts for approximately another 14+ lots being sold. Lake Anna’s location to major urban cities such as Washington DC, the northern Virginia Area and Richmond makes our beau- tiful lake a fantastic choice for a second home. The idea of a such a home is more than exciting when you con- sider the stress and fast pace of city life. Being able to escape the hustle and bustle with only an hour or two drive is very appealing and therapeutic to say the least! Lake Anna is not only very beautiful it is a great place to unwind.
