As of today 56 homes have sold with 33 under contract. During the same time period last year we only had 44 homes sold at the lake. Lake Anna’s largest gain in sale numbers has been in land sales. Last year this time there were only 27 lots that sold and this year we have closed 45 lots with another 27 under contract! Land and home prices remain steady and according to a re- cent Forbes report the Federal Reserve has plans to raise the rates three times this year, but of course that always depends on the economic data. That being said you can expect to see the rates rise over the course of this year. Now is the time to get off that fence and buy a lake home or lake property. Prices remain steady and sellers are negotiat- ing. If you are thinking of buying it is highly recommended that you seek out an experienced lake agent.
